About Us
Created in 2006 after seeing the need for more services to help government job applicants navigate the complex nature of government job applications and interviews.
Vanessa, a recruitment expert, has been working in government recruitment since 2003. She originally focussed on government recruitment consulting to commonwealth and state governments; assisting government recruitment panels with their recruitment activities and policies.
Vanessa has written three books specifically for government job applicants; Get That Job! The Best Guide to Applying for a Government Job, followed by The Selection Criteria Coach and then Selection Criteria Exposed. She has written numerous quick guides, articles, and appeared on the cover of the Professional section of The Weekend Australian (see image below). She has conducted approximately 2650 government interviews for roughly 510 different selection panels, and so far over 55,000 applicants have received help via this website.
